Gateway Logistics Inc. was incorporated in July 2002 as the latest complement to the shipping and transport companies in the ECJ Group, envisioned to expand services offered to import and export clients, and to add efficiency and value in their supply chain.

Gateway Logistics began actual operations in 2003 under one division, Forwarding, for air and sea cargo. In time, GLI’s forwarding division encompassed general, as well as special buyers’ consolidations, packing, crating and moving, warehousing and storage, tariff consultancy, door-to-door cargo handling, special projects and out-of-gauge equipment, both international and domestic.

In 2004, Gateway Logistics Inc. commenced its trucking and domestic distribution operations, and in 2005, set up an experienced brokerage team which offered expert service and assistance in documentation, customs and clearance requirements, and the full complement of trucking, domestic forwarding and delivery of goods.

Today, with its full resource of a seasoned team of professionals, a wide international network of agents, its domestic network of special and complementary services, Gateway Logistics Inc. is capable of giving comprehensive logistical support to clients, adding efficiency and value in the supply chain.
